What we collect, why, and what we never do

HH Web Studios collects only what we need to run your website and tools. Your data stays yours. On our Google Review Automation page, advertising measurement follows your privacy choices and regional settings. Depending on your region, it can start automatically unless you opt out, or stay off until you give permission. If we cannot determine the applicable region, we ask first.
The Website & AI Access Check stores a public website address and automated findings. Reports are retained for seven days, or up to 90 days when you request an email copy or help improving your website. Email, name, business name, and promotional email permission are collected only when you choose to submit them. Promotional permission is optional and off by default. Read the website check privacy notice for rate limiting, report links, deletion, and backup details.
If you submit a testimonial, the permissions you select on the form control where we can use it, our website, social media, marketing materials, or a longer case study, and how we credit you. We publish only what those permissions allow. We edit for length and clarity, never to change your meaning, and we do not publish the email address you gave us. If you want your testimonial changed or taken down, email hello@hhwebstudios.com and we will do it.
For traffic measurement we use Cloudflare Web Analytics, a cookie-free, privacy-first tool that reports aggregate page views and performance without building profiles of visitors. We also count use of inquiry email links and successful form relay deliveries without putting your message contents or email address in those counts. These counts do not identify you or confirm that an inquiry was received. The client portal and booking system use only the functional cookies and sessions required to keep you signed in.
On our Google Review Automation page, we use the OpenAI Measurement Pixel. We use approximate country information to decide whether to ask first. Where our regional settings allow automatic measurement, it can start unless you opt out. Otherwise, it stays off until you select “Allow measurement.” If country information is unavailable or cannot be verified, we ask first. Cloudflare supplies the approximate country based on your connection address; we do not request precise location. The Pixel helps us understand whether our ads lead to page visits and accepted audit requests. You can request an audit whether measurement is on or off. We do not treat an email-link click, a failed submission, or opening a confirmation page as an accepted request.
When allowed, the Pixel sends events and browser/network information to OpenAI and can use first-party attribution cookies. We send a SHA-256 hash of your normalized email after a successful submission. If automatic advanced matching is enabled for our pixel, supported contact details can also be detected and hashed in your browser. Hashing is a matching method, not anonymity. We do not add your business link or optional message to advertising event payloads. OpenAI processes measurement data under its privacy policy.
The Pixel can store __oppref for 30 days and __obref for up to 365 days. If you select “Allow measurement,” we remember your permission in this browser for 30 days, then ask again where prior permission is required. We remember your opt-out in this browser without an automatic expiry. A saved opt-out remains in effect unless you choose to allow measurement again. You can opt out below. The “Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information” footer link returns you to these controls. Opting out stops future measurement and clears these Pixel cookies on this website; it cannot retract information already sent. A functional opt-out cookie also remembers this choice for up to one year across hhwebstudios.com and www.hhwebstudios.com. This cookie records only the opt-out, not an advertising identifier. Clearing website storage or using a different browser may remove your choice. If browser storage is unavailable, measurement stays off. A browser Global Privacy Control signal also opts out automatically. We set events to opt out of future user-level personalization. Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control blocks the Pixel, including when you submit a form. Submitting a form does not override your opt-out.
The advertising notice on the Google Review Automation page can be dismissed. We remember that dismissal in this browser for 30 days. Dismissing the notice only hides it. It never grants permission or changes your privacy choices. The footer link remains available after dismissal.
Use these controls to stop advertising measurement or allow it again in this browser. A Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control signal keeps measurement off even if you previously allowed it. You do not need to create an account or provide your name, email, or other identifying information. You can still request your audit.
Our services run on our own servers, with Cloudflare in front for security and delivery, visitor traffic passes through Cloudflare's network. The web fonts on this marketing site are served from our own website. We share information with service providers as needed to run our services and, with OpenAI for advertising measurement under the controls described above. We keep information for as long as we work together and as long as the law requires. When a client leaves, they receive an export of their data and configurations wherever the platform allows, and we delete what we are not required to keep.

Everything we host runs on our own infrastructure with SSL everywhere, daily encrypted backups stored off the server, and Cloudflare in front. We built and run the same stack for our own business.
Our services are for businesses and are not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
We may update this policy from time to time. Changes are posted on this page with a new date, and we will email active clients about material changes.
